Forty kids living in a ghost town for forty days. A nation asks, “Where are the parents?” Capital Z talks about a new gadget fit for enshrinement in the poor product naming hall of fame, and proposes a new sports league for most people’s third favorite kindergarten playground sport. Anyone with audio editing skills is invited to help the show out with a jingle that will help us from having to put any thought into making clever segues.

The truth sets you free in our fifth offering of Stereo Radiation. If the local animals had their own podcast, they might go on and on about how difficult we are to get along with. But this episode is more about what annoys Capital Z and McG. Please do not use this information for nefarious purposes, only purposes which are… whatever the opposite of “nefarious” is.

Lastly, we owe a big “Happy Birthday” today to a major supporter of Stereo Radiation.

When you are working to free trapped cave-in victims, how much effort is too much effort? Some good folks in Utah show us the way. But the main lesson to take from this show is don’t go streaking in bear cages. McG now owns his dream car, while Capital Z pines away for his own dream car, which will no doubt require a certain degree of pimping. This is life in the fast lane. This is Stereo Radiation. By Mennen.

Movie ratings systems are overrated. That’s why Capital Z and McG have devised a better, more mathematically inscrutable one. We’ve also got some words to say about Michael Vick, who got so many dogs to question whether they should continue to be our best friend. The trilogy is complete, now remastered and on home video for the first time in a generation. If you choose to add a picture and burn the first three shows onto a blank DVD, that is.

Episode 2: Bridge To Depression

Sequels are big in 2007! In this case, our sequel to Episode 1 is in fact a prequel, as this was the “dress rehearsal” of sorts, recorded first. Confused? McG and Capital Z most assuredly are as well. Today is the day the most anticipated movie of the year drops, and it remains to be seen whether it will be as depressing as previous efforts by the same studio. Capital Z gives his “what I did on my summer vacation” report, and takes you behind the scenes in starting up the podcast, which for very complex and very unexplained reasons were not dealt with in our freshman effort.

This episode should have an asterisk next to it, because it was made under conditions that were not available to podcasters in the 1960′s and 1970′s. Capital Z talks about what really gives Barry Bonds the edge, and how we could get some of that edge for ourselves. We also get to such meaty issues as David Beckham, the weather, and going to clubs. Keep in mind that this is Episode 1, so it’s going to be worth something someday.
